Intel Extreme Tuning Utility Incompatibility

I was trying to enter the Intel XTU application, but I always get this error. I tried going into the BIOS to fix it as explained on Intel's website, but my BIOS HUD (from asus rog) doesn’t allow me to change anything related to VBS.

My question is whether this error might be occurring because I have the Windows 11 24H2 version, which is not supported by Intel XTU. I wanted to know if a new version of XTU will be released to support 24H2 in the future.

What is your processor model number?

The latest version of xtu can be found here:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/17881/intel-extreme-tuning-utility-intel-xtu.html

I would make certain the bios is updated.  I would also contact asus regarding their bios settings.

The dropdown shows your processor as supported.  I would definitely check the bios update.  If that fails, I would contact ASUS regarding their bios.

And can the version of Windows I have affect it? Because on the download page, the latest version of XTU (7.14.2.14) says it only supports up to version 23H2.

It should, but an Intel support engineer will have to confirm.

I guessthat the problem is the version of Windows because I don't have any more BIOS updates from ASUS.

Latest bios does not mean that it does not have errors.

Hi Xoel,

Thank you for posting in the Community.

I would like to clarify some things first:

Was the Intel XTU working normally before?

What is the current version of your BIOS?

What is the exact model of your laptop?

When did you noticed this issue?

These details will help us diagnose the issue more accurately and provide a suitable solution. Thank you.
