Hello,

I have a problem with the application, when I run it, the window attached to the message pops up. I tried to do something about it but it didn't fix anything.

Please help,

Hello Zarpix,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

Upon checking the screenshot that you have sent, I can see that Intel® XTU is unable to start due to incompatibility with Virtualization-based security (VBS) unless your system has undervolt protection enabled. Generally, VBS will be running in the background when one or more of the services below is enabled.

  • Core Isolation Memory Integrity
  • Hyper-V
  • Virtual Machine Platform
  • Windows Hypervisor Platform
  • Windows Defender Credential Guard

Additionally, you may want to follow the steps on the article link below to enable Undervolt Protection (UVP):

Unable to Start the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) Because of a System Incompatibility

Feel free to let me know if you have questions or need clarification.

Good morning,

Thank you for your answer. Could I get help on how to check these features you mentioned?

I saw the link you gave me earlier and I tried to do something based on it, but it didn't work because my BIOS and Windows are in the latest version and I can't find this UVP function in the BIOS.

I don't really know how it works or how to fix it, so I would like to ask for help in fixing it because I really need it.

Thank you
Regards

Hello Zarpix,

Appreciate your response.

Given that the Undervolt Protection option is not available in your BIOS, I recommend reaching out to your motherboard manufacturer for guidance. This is in line with the procedures described in the article "

Unable to Start the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) Because of a System Incompatibility"
