Hardware/software: OS = Windows 11 pro MB = MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI CPU = 14700K Trying to undervolt, getting the same error messages as CP66. asks me to enable undervolt protection in Bios to gain access to IETU. I do that. The app opens, but then it won't let me minus voltage. Bios and Windows are completely up to date, so is IETU. Any ideas why this could be? All my settings are pretty much stock, no overclocking has been done.

Hi, RB1996.
Thank you for posting in our Community.
Undervolt Protection is a microcode/processor feature that limits voltages from going below a set of voltage minimums, either of the user-defined BIOS value or default in-spec value (whichever is higher). The processor enforces UVP rules and limits, where selected BIOS can disable or change the minimum. You mentioned encountering the CP66 error message while attempting to undervolt your system. Please provide more details about the CP66 error and send us a screenshot showing the error message.
Have you checked if there are any specific BIOS settings related to voltage control or power management that might need adjustment? Sometimes certain BIOS configurations can restrict voltage modifications even with undervolt protection enabled.
Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.
