Hello,
A few weeks ago i got a new PC with Intel Processor I7-13700F. I have been getting some random Blue Screen of Clock_Watchdog_timeout every now and then whenever i play games. It gets even more annoying whenever it did get Bsod and able to get out of it, Booting my computer back to normal also causes the same Bsod and it became a chain of Clock_watchdog_timeout for at least 3 more times. So i tried to find those test from GPU, RAM and CPU. But to my surprise using IPDT (Intel Processor Diagnostic Tools) it failed at GPUStressW even with 3 different tries (restarted my computer whenever it showed a fail result).
I'd like to know what exactly is GPUStressW and how does a processor failed at the test? And what exactly can i do to fix this?

Hello Taika,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your Intel® Core™ i7-13700F Processor.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. What is the brand and model name of your motherboard?
2. What is the brand and model name of your RAM?
3. What is the brand and model name of your graphics card?
4. What is the operating system installed as well as the version and build?
5. Do you get a beep code or LED code from the motherboard when the Blue Screen of Dead is present?

Hi,
1. Motherboard : ROG Strix B760-F Gaming WIFI DDR5
2. RAM : Kingston Fury Beast 2x16 GB 5200 Mhz DDR5
3. Graphic Card : Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2x 12GB OC Edition (And no, no overclock was ever done)
4. Operating system : Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 Build 19045 (OS Build 19045.2846)
5. Blue screen only happens when i used the IPDT or when gaming, same Blue Screen which is Clock_Watchdog_Timeout. LED sometimes happen, i'd say only 30% of the occurrence. LED are on number 3 from the left white light (I'm guessing thats the Graphic Card?)

I'd like to add a bit more, i also did run a full test with the setting "stop on fail" off. It also failed on CPULoad test and caused a blue screen as well

Hello Taika,
Thanks for the confirmation. Based on the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool report and the Asus LED code, this seems a GPU-related issue. I recommend you test the following:
1. Try the recommended steps from Asus related to the LED codes:
2. Make sure that the GFX card is properly installed.
3. Test minimal confirm:
- motherboard, processor, one stick of memory, video card, one storage drive, and power supply)
4. Undo any recent hardware or software changes (change in a BIOS, operating system patch installed, or setting changed.)
5. If possible, test with another processor or try replacing the motherboard.
Bear in mind that this CPU does not have integrated graphics, I recommend you check with Asus to get further information related to the LED code.
Regards,
Deivid A.
