Intel(R) SUR QC Software Asset Manager timing out

Hello,

I've been getting this error in the event viewer "Event 7009" Service Control Manager

The error says,

"A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Intel(R) SUR QC Software Asset Manager service to connect."

How do I fix this issue?

Caleb21796, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this matter, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:

What is the mode of the Intel® processor?

What is the model of the motherboard?

If this is a laptop, what is the model of it?

Did you notice this "Event Viewer Error" before?

If not, when did the issue start?

Did you make any recent hardware/software changes that might cause this problem?

Which Windows* version are you using?

Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?

Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

I am also getting this error on a machine that is only a few months old.  Has this ever been solved?
