1. Download the Intel® Chipset Device Software version 10.1.19376.8374 and unzip the downloaded file on your drive.

2. Download the Intel Serial IO Driver version 30.100.1914.3 and unzip the downloaded file on your drive.

3. In the search box write cmd and then right click on Command Prompt entry. Click on Run as administrator to open Administrator Command window.

4. In the Administrator Command prompt change the directory to the directory with the unzipped Chipset Software.

5. Write the following command: SetupChipset.exe -overall and click enter.

6. Reboot your NUC and now install the previously downloaded Serial IO Driver.

7. BTW, this is link to Asus Download Page with all the latest drivers and BIOS for your NUC.

I have exactly the same problem as FerrariF1  on my NUC8i7HVK.

Under Windows 10, everything worked. Now I did a clean install of Windows 11 Pro running into this problem.

I followed your solution step by step, but it didnt help.

What else could I do?

Thanks,

Christian

Hi! My issue turned out being a faulty ram memory. I would probably verify drivers/correct function of ram memory after win 11 upgrade. Additionally, I would look here to inspect memory dump files...

Hi!
I just got it working (was a little to fast with my post after hours of searching for a solution).

I also had to install the package:

USB Type C Power Delivery Controller for Windows 10 & Windows 11 for the Intel® NUC Kits & Mini PCs - NUC8i7HVK & NUC8HNK Version 1.0.10.3
from the Asus Download Page.

Now everything works as expected.
Thanks for your quick reply!
