Your motherboard manufacturer is responsible for delivering a package that will update the Management Engine firmware contained within their board's flash component. You can either wait on the sidelines for them to deliver this package or you can proactively contact them and demand that it be delivered as soon as possible.
If your manufacturer refuses to deliver a package for your motherboard -- and there will certainly be some slimy ones who will refuse -- then I would very loudly let the world know that this manufacturer doesn't care about system security. I certainly won't purchase products from such a manufacturer and you shouldn't either.
