Intel Speed Optimizer too high

i7 11700K using UXT and the intel speed optimizer is malfunctioning or simply showing a display error, maybe isn’t actually adding that much but it’s scary when something you count on that could potentially end your cpus life via too much voltage; is showing errors making it to where Ill have to test OC with throttle stop. (testing is quicker than restarting and messing with a lot with the bios) I’ll manual overclock in the bios with the same settings after I see its fully stable running several benchmarks and stress tests. I wanted to begin by seeing how the automatic OCs temps looked but I’m not about to test that out lol or further mess with the app that may not work well on my specific system.. Intel i7 11700K, MSI Z590A-Pro, Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600, MSI MAG CoreLiquid 360R liquid AIO, Corsair 750W Bronze, Windows 11 Home. Any questions feel free to ask, thank you.

Hello j5Digital

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We understand that you are having some issues with the Intel Speed Optimizer (ISO) feature on Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU). Could you please provide more details?

1- What are the exact behavior and the exact error messages that you are receiving?

In the screenshot that you attached, we can see under "New All Core™ Frequency" the value is 12.60 GHz after the "Intel Speed Optimizer completed successfully". Is this the behavior that you are talking about?

Please provide additional details and/or additional screenshots (showing the errors) if necessary.

2- Please confirm the Intel® XTU version running on the system. Based on the screenshot, it seems you're running version 7.3.0.33. Is this correct?

3- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system:

  • Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
  • Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
  • Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.

To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
