Hello, I Have hp omen 17-w172nw laptop with intel i7-6700HQ. Im trying to undervolt this procesor with XTU but when I try to apply any operetion the atached error dispalys.
I have tried to reinstal the program. I have also reinstaled whole windows. In the bios i don't see any options about this driver.
So my question is is there any possibility to instal or enable this driver?
Also is it save to ignore this and try to undervolt anyway? What will happen when I adjust too much? How to revert it manualy?

Hello, Johny_994.
Thank you very much for taking the time to reach the Intel® Communities Team.
I understand you are facing some problems trying to undervolt your processor using the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU- Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility. Allow me to help you regarding this issue you are facing.
In this case, if the software is not able to modify the settings of your processor, there might be a restriction from the mainboard of your system. I highly recommend you to get in touch with https://www.support.hp.com/us-en HP* Support to verify that.

Thank you for your response.
I can undervolt my procesor if I click continue and the change will apply. The case is that the error (that I've attached) says that if somteging goes wrong it won't be reverted automatically.
My qeustion is if it is safe to continue without Watchdog Timer Driver? What will happen if something goes wrong? How can revert it manualy then?

Hello, Johny_994.
Thank you for your quick reply.
In this case, if there is any problem you can manually revert the changes through the Intel® XTU nonetheless, I recommend you to verify with the https://www.support.hp.com/us-en HP Support if undervolt of the system is recommendable for your laptop.
