Intel XTU max core frequency is negative

Somebody please help... i had reset my Laptop so that i can start a fresh but when i reinstalled the xtu program, the core readings are negative, and the active cores is always at 1 even when on load. What could be the problem? I am on windows 10 2004, i5 8265u

Sorry, but XTU does not support your processor.  XTU only supports X and K processors.  You cannot rely upon any data provided since your processor is not supported.
