Hi,

The Intel ARK states that MAX turbo on the E5-2690 V3 is 3,5 GHZ but when I run CPU-Z on it I only see 3,1 Ghz (100 mhz * 31). I also tried to run Prime on 1 core just to verify and it never when above 3,1Ghz.

Intel Ark Specifications:

Have you updated BIOS recently?

Is turbo frequency or turbo boost enabled in BIOS?

Allan.

Hello,

We have this on 2 different boxes with the same CPU. 1 HP server and 1 Dell server (the only servers we have with the V3 CPU). The bios is latest on both boxes.

Turbo boost is indeed enabled in BIOS

Regards

Jonas

if you run memory test on one core you will get 3.5GHz, if you are running prime95 with AVX2 enable then it will stuck at 3.1

Hi,

Ok I will try memtest.

However, should not the CPU-Z show multiplier 12-35?
