Intel management engine interface disabling

 causes my system to slow down?
 Hello, I work on a HP Probook,with SSD, and I would like to know if there is a risk by disabling the system device : Intel management engine Interface, because I work independently and this application causes my system slow down ?

The ME does not cause your system to slow down.  You have some other issue.

Hello Alhill, you didn't answer my question . I asked if i could disable Intel management engine interface without incurring any issue .
