Since updating my chipset driver, my computer is lagging. Task manager shows nearly 40% cpu usage by IntelPTTEKRecertificationService continuously, even without running any programs and having no browsers open. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or get rid of it?
Thanks

Ashani: Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Processors communities. We will do our best to assist you with this scenario.
In regard to your inquiry, from our side we can confirm that the IntelPTTEKRecertificationService is related to the Intel® PTT feature, the processor supports it and on the following link you will find further details about the feature:

The feature can be enabled or modified by OEM, therefore, the best option we can recommend is to contact the final product manufacturer for further technical assistance on this matter.
Any further questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Alberto R

Thank you very much for the response. I was able to take care of it through bios once I made an admin password for it.
