I'm using a COM E Type 7 Xeon D 1559 based SBC from Adlink, Express-BD7. I've designed a custom carrier card for the Express-BD7 that has Inphi's CS4223E 10G PHY interfacing to the Express-BD7's KR interface. The SBC's OS is Linux, therefore inquiring if the LANconf SW utility is available in Linux to enable me to configure the Inphi CS4223E device?

Hello GDura6,

Thank you for your time.

I was reviewing your thread and I was doing some research and I found that this unit has an embedded "Intel® MAC/PHY: Intel® Ethernet Connection i210-LM " according to the datasheet of the following website: https://www.adlinktech.com/Products/Computer_on_Modules/COMExpressType7/Express-BD7?lang=en

Nevertheless, you mentioned that recently you have added a different Ethernet Card which is the "Inphi's CS4223E 10G PHY".

Are you planning use both interfaces as the same time or which specific configuration are you trying to accomplish?

I would like to know more information of the configuration in order to provide you the most accurate recommendation.

Best regards,

Yes, the interfaces will be used concurrently.

I've designed a custom carrier board that the Adlink Express-BD7 plugs into. On my custom carrier board I have Inphi's CS4223E interfacing to the Express-BD7 KR ports. Attached is a Technical Note from Inphi describing the sub-system (figure 1): in this scenario the processor is on the Express-BD7 and remaining components on my custom carrier card. Note the list of Intel Deliverables starting on page 1. 1c makes mention of the LANconf tool which is my support inquiry.
