Is the stock thermal paste that comes on stock CPU coolers permanent?

I installed the stock cooler on my i5-4670k, and I have an aftermarket heatsink that I may install later. Will I be able to do that without damaging the processor?

Hi Juqe,

You can change the cooler if you want for a different. Just make sure the new one is setup correctly and add more thermal paste.
