Issue with i5 processor & Intel HD 2000 Graphics

I just purchased an i5 processor and am unable to get the graphics to show up on my HDTV. When I set up the computer on a 24" monitor using the integrated HDMI there are no issues, the resolution goes to 1900x1200 and everything works great. Even after changing the resolution to 1900x1080 the TV is unable to display the screen and eventually I get a blue screen explaining that there was a graphics issues. I tried reinstalling everything and only using the HDTV as a monitor. Everything is displayed through installing windows until I install the Intel HD driver from the ASUS motherboard disc, at which point the graphics fail. My set up is this:

ASUS P8H67-I DELUXE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i5-2400S Sandy Bridge 2.5GHz (3.3GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 65W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52400S

Samsung HLT6176S 61-Inch UltraSlim 1080p DLP HDTV

Thank you.
