Latest production microcode for Arrandale (CPUID 20655) missing from Linux Processor Microcode Data File (20180425)

According to https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2018/04/microcode-update-guidance.pdf https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2018/04/microcode-update-guidance.pdf , the latest Production MCU Rev for Arrandale CPUID 20655 is 0x6.

I am using the latest version of the Linux Processor Microcode Data File (20180425) from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27776?v=t https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27776?v=t

But it provides 0x4, not 0x6:

Linux Processor Microcode Data File Version:

intel-microcode 20180425

Microcode loaded:

microcode: microcode updated early to revision 0x4, date = 2013-06-28

microcode: sig=0x20655, pf=0x10, revision=0x4

microcode: Microcode Update Driver: v2.2.

Unfortunately, the BIOS will not be updated by the manufacturer, so I am relying entirely on this file.

My question is:

Is there going to be an update of the Linux Processor Microcode Data File containing rev 0x6 for CPUID 20655?

Hello Leonardo,

the latest revision is a security update.

I just want to know if it will be available in a future update of the Linux Processor Microcode Data File.

Thanks
