Looking to upgrade processor.

Looking for a good upgrade for the attached photo's. Cheap older laptop just messing around with.​

You need to contact the laptop manufacturer and ask them which processors are supported by THEIR bios. Then, you can select from those.

An upgrade processor must be socket, chipset, AND BIOS compatible.

 

However, for something this old (circa 2004), I would abandon the effort as, even with an upgrade, the laptop will still fall far below what is needed today.

Yes thank you and I understand. This is more of just messing around with thing and it looks like I can get a dual core for like $18 just do not know what one to go with.
