Hi,

I want try to decrease the TDP of my CPU i3-10100T setting the PL1 from 35w to 25w. I have check the datasheet and it's seems that it can run at this value.

There is some dependency to worry about? I can just decrease the Pl1 value to 25w in the BIOS? Could be it dangerous?

Thanks you

Regards

I can just change this value, and keep all the other CPU related values in the bios as default?

The CPU will decrease the performances decreasing the PL1?

thanks

Hello @surfparadise

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We are checking this thread and we would like to know if you need further assistance.

We understand that you have some inquiries about PL1 and you would like to change the PL1 value from 35w to 25w in the BIOS. Is this correct?

Could you please provide more details regarding why you want to change this? Is there any specific reason or are you having an issue?

Also, please run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and provide us with the report in case we need more details about the system:

  • Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
  • Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
  • Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.

To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
