Math fail - Intel processor diagnostic

Hi all,

I have trouble with my laptop. I'm using Dell inspiron 5559 - Core i7 8gb Ram and 1Tb Hdd.

My laptop is using Win 10 but it's very very slow - can't view the videos and browse the web.

I have checked windows, ram, Hdd and Gpu. They're ok.

I use  Intel processor diagnostic 64bit tool to check CPU. It has math fail as photoz2250968831112_fe6c42aa0d992c89900521aeda7c4cb1.jpg

Anybody knows how to fix the problem or what is causing the problem/what to do? Do i need to buy a new processor?

Chievo, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In reference to this scenario, you asked "Anybody knows how to fix the problem or what is causing the problem/what to do? Do i need to buy a new processor?". Just to let you know, the "Math Test" is composed of executables modules between the "Primer Number" and "Floating Point", the Intel® Processor should pass the test entirely for us to confirm that it is working properly.

So yes, it seems there is a problem with the Intel® Processor itself, it seems to be a hardware defect with the unit. In this case then, what we recommend is to get in contact directly with Dell for them to provide their warranty options on the laptop in order to fix the problem:

Any questions, please let me know.
