Hello,

The information should be available in the CPU datasheet.

http://download.intel.com/design/processor/datashts/323252.pdf http://download.intel.com/design/processor/datashts/323252.pdf

Table 2-6

However, on the Intel Desktop Board, the system memory voltage was only 1.5v.

Recommendation for our current design is given in the Table 2-7

All the best,

Kind Regards,

Aryan.

Rajiv Doolub thx u very much !!

And one more question.

Whether will damage my processor If I use voltage for ddr3 (vddr=1.8v) 24/7?

PS my i7 920@4200 Mhz, memory 1600 Mhz, but I want to overclocked memory to 2000Mhz and for that frequency memory demand vddr=1.8v.

Hello again,

You will need to check the board system memory specifications as well. As in any case scenario, using an unvalidated settings will definitely void the warranty for both board and processor.

I would not use any that is close to the absolute maximum values. It is best to be on safe side. There must be a reason why system integrators or manufacturers are validated memories less than 1.8v for the combination of Intel (r) X58 chipset and Intel (r) Core 77 processors.

All the best,

Kind Regards,

Aryan.
