hello.

i'm using ASUS A45UQ and i think my CPU its unstable, when i opens every heavy application and mid-end games like Adobe Photoshop and any other applications like that, DOTA or LoL and any other games like that.

i know when i see the task manager it should be high, means, the CPU is working greatly. but sometimes the diagram showing its not working greatly.

i already have this problem around 2 years,

sometimes, the CPU stable by itself for around 2-4 months, then its unstable again, and then stable again. repeatedly.

i attach some DxDiag pictures and the process on the task manager, i zip it under here.

thank you.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reach the Intel Communities Team, michaelpien. I will do my best to assist you further.

In this case, in order to verify the health of the processor, please run the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool and share with us the results. Furthermore, when the processor is having this behavior, are there any issues with the FPS of the game?

Hello Antony,

thank you for your response according to my question.

I already run the IPDT test, I will attach it below the results.

yes i have some issues too with the FPS from the applications or games that I open.

sometimes it a bit "laggy" because the FPS is drop gradually, normally I play the games with stable FPS about 55-60 FPS. But, when this problem comes, it will stable on 1-2 minutes for 55-60FPS, and then it will drop to 1-10FPS for around 30 seconds ahead, and then back to normal again, and drop again, repeatedly.

Thank you very much for your report, michaelpien.

By double checking your DxDiag report, I can see that your Windows 10* is outdated. Please update your Operating System by using the Microsoft update utility: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3159635/windows-10-update-assistant https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3159635/windows-10-update-assistant

Then, please try deactivating the Windows 10* Game mode. Here are the steps of how to achieve so: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/75936-turn-off-game-mode-windows-10-a.html# option1 https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/75936-turn-off-game-mode-windows-10-a.html# option1
