My Intel I5 760 is running at 2.00 GHz of max speed

I don't know why. But before it was running just fine at 2.80 GHz. But It's running at 2.00 Ghz, Well that is the max frequency, my motherboard is tell me that, and my OS too.

Anyone has a solution for this?

I would suggest that you check the configuration in (the limitations being imposed by) your system's BIOS. As well, check the related configuration in your O/S (In Windows, check the Power Options applet in Control Panel)..

(Slow Reply: I was busy so I couldn't answer in time Sorry.)

Thx It help. the problem was on my BIOS CPU settings. Base clock was 15x, and I press F7 for optimization to default settings and It works . So Thx a lot. N.Scott.Pearson
