My PC is overheating when gaming

i7-8700k, liquid cooled

 

Multiple browsers and videos do not cause the overheating issue.  Gaming does.  What can I do?

Improperly installed thermal paste and/or cooler

Inadequate ventilation

Case fans not working

Motherboardd bios needs updating

Motherboard fan control needs attention

Ambient room temperature too high

 

Any of the above.
