Ok so, I was gaming with friends as usual and my pc randomly freezes and shuts down and I didn’t know why I’m pretty sure it overheated. So now it only boots up and my mouse light turns on then it shuts down and reboots does the same thing again and again not blue screen like every tutorial I’ve looked at. I don’t know what to do I’ve opened it up let it cool down checked the cooler and everything seemed to be ok I’m not a pc wiz though so maybe I didn’t check good enough, but do I need to buy a new cooler or processor it’s never ever done this before so it took me by surprise?
much appreciated!

Hello Ghostlygrim,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

To better assist you please provide the following information:

  • For how long you’ve been experiencing this behavior?
  • Were any changes made prior to this issue?
  • How are you checking the temperatures of your processor?

To gather more information about your system, please run the following tool and attach the reports generated.

Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) Download link

1.       Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information.

2.   By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".

3.       Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".

4.       To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
