Hi, is it possible use NCS-2 (Myriad X VPU) for general computer vision tasks such as image processing filters using C or C++ language?

Yes, it is possible to use the NCS-2 (Myriad X VPU) for general computer vision tasks, including image processing filters, using C or C++ language. The Myriad X VPU is designed to handle a variety of computer vision workloads and can be programmed using the OpenVINO Toolkit, which supports C and C++ languages
,,,However, it's important to note that as of the OpenVINO™ 2023.0 release, support for all VPU accelerators based on Intel® Movidius™, including the NCS-2, has been discontinued.
You would need to use an archived version of the OpenVINO Toolkit, such as 2021.4.2, to work with the NCS-2 device.
