N3150 cpu. Can i connect body of chip on to gnd?

N3150 cpu. Can i connect body of chip on to gnd? Heatsink don't have insulation between chip (Si) and radiator (Cu). Heatsink can be mounted with use textolite, but water can create bridge between cover and heatsink. (I build small tourist PC).

Hello yurukin.pavel :

I just wanted to let you know that I just received some updates of our research, and since this is an embedded processor, for all general product information such as processor specifications, data sheet, ordering, eSpecs, steppings and driver downloads you can always get that information from the following link:

http://ark.intel.com/products/87258/Intel-Celeron-Processor-N3150-2M-Cache-up-to-2_08-GHz?q=Intel%C2... http://ark.intel.com/products/87258/Intel-Celeron-Processor-N3150-2M-Cache-up-to-2_08-GHz?q=Intel%C2...

%20Processor%20N3150%20(2M%20Cache,%20up%20to%202.08%20GHz)

If the information you are looking for is not available on the link above, the please submit your inquiry in the Intel® Embedded Design Center where a dedicated Intel team is available to provide support for those type of processors:

Additionally in order to get further assistance you can always submit your inquiry on the Intel® Premier Support. In order to do that you just need to get contact with your Intel FAE (Field Application Engineer) directly to get their Intel® Premier Support account setup and activated:

Datasheet don't have information about bias on the substrate of chip. All mainboard which i saw have isolated heatsink (no connected to GND). Suspended radiator is no good (Electromagnetic interference), but consumer goods will endure it of course. I'll have to put a dielectric gasket, 180W/(m*K). Maybe I will buy a chip and I will test it.

About - I'll have to learn Chinese :).

Thanks for the help.

Hello yurukin.pavel:

Thank you very much for letting us know that information.

We are sorry to hear that the information you were looking for is not available on the datasheet of the processor or in the link provided above.

Not sure what do you mean by: "I'll have to learn Chinese", the technical support assistance on that site is provided in English, you might find more languages in there but mainly English.

You will be able to submit a new thread in there to get more information regarding to this subject.

Any questions, please let me know.
