NUV6ACYH, SSD not detected after BIOS update

As said on subject, I updated the BIOS to the latest version on my Intel NUC6ACYH. The process ended successfully but now "no boot device found" message is shown.

On BIOS the SSD is not listed and I tried change different settings but nothing.

With a bootable USB disk connected, the SSD is detected and start correctly but the issue come back when the USB is plugged off and the system restarted.

Obviously, before update all works fine.

any advice?

Note:
BIOS installed: AY0076.bio (via F7 option)
Previous: AYAPLCEL.86A.0047.2018.0108.1419

1. "...I tried change different settings but nothing...." - reset BIOS to default settings (while in BIOS press F9 and then F10 to exit from BIOS.

2. If still the SSD is not recognized,  update BIOS again, but this time using BIOS Recovery with the Security Jumper removed:

2. I would suggest to update BIOS using BIOS Recovery with the Yellow Security Jumper Removed:
2.1Prepare USB stick fully formatted to FAT32 with Bios File AY0076.bio . Format your USB with Quick Format option unchecked. Do not format your USB in MAC (OS) or Linux machine. Use Windows.
2.2 Disconnect the power adapter and remove the bottom panel from your NUC.
2.3 Remove the Yellow Bios Security Jumper. (page 50 in Technical Product Specification)
2.4 Insert the USB with the AY0076.bio file into rear USB slot.
2.5 Reconnect the power adapter and power ON the NUC. Wait 30 sec - 2min. The Recovery process will start automatically and will end after 2 -5 minutes.
2.6 When bios recovery is completed, press and hold the Power Button to switch the power OFF, remove the power, adapter, the USB and replace the Security Jumper (pins 1-2) . Reinstall the bottom panel.
2.7 Power your NUC ON.
2.8 Enter Bios setting by pressing F2 during boot process.
2.9 Press F9(followed by "Y"), to set Bios to default settings. Press F10 (followed by "Y"), to save the settings and exit to O.S. Let the NUC fully reboot.

Hi Leon,

thank you very much for your reply. I followed your step but nothing change, system still not recognize the SSD (see attached image).

Another try I did before update BIOS as you suggested, was to install the old WD IDE disk with Windows 10 and the NUC boot right.

The SSD I use is not of a blasonate brand but anyway, before update, it worked great.

Downgrade the BIOS could be an option? Where can I find a previous version of it?

Update:

I tried with a new Kingston SSD but nothing change.

Someone has an Idea?
