New build with i7-8700K getting BSOD; Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool results in BDOS; Help?

Build is infrequently used (avg. usage 2-3 times every other month). Recent use is seeing BSOD when anything intensive is attempted. All current system updates have been installed, all drivers are current, memory tests on RAM have been performed.

Reviewing logs in Event Viewer showed some potential of issues with the cores? As stated in title, when attempting the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool, BSOD is received every time it's attempted to be ran.

More info can be given if needed.

Build Info:

Build Date: 11/2018

System: Windows 10 64 bit

Processor: Intel i7-8700k

Mobo: ASUS Prime Z370-A II

Memory: Corsair 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz (SKU CMK16GX4M2A2400C16)

GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX -RTX 2060

Update your bios.

Check your cooling system.

What version of Winfows 10? 1903? 1909?

Hello WChap,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We would like to know if you were able to check the recommendations provided by Al.Hill.

If you need further assistance, please provide the following information:

1- Details of the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error: (error message/error code, Event Viewer logs, etc.).

2- Was any hardware, software or update before the issue started?

3- Since the system is experiencing the BSOD errors when running the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool test (Intel® PDT), I think you cannot save any report file. By any chance are you able to provide some pictures or a short video showing the behavior when running Intel® PDT?

4- Please run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach the report to this thread.

4.1- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-

4.2- Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".

4.3- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.

4.4- To attach a file, you must click the “Attach” option on the bottom left-hand corner of the response box.
