In the past I occasionally used Intel's Processor Check Utility which gave an "OK" on all tested functions. On my last attempt to use it, I was advised to download and use Intel's new IPDT.
The problem is that it only runs "for a second" before stopping with the 2nd in the list of tests ("BrandString") being labeled as a "Fail".
Testing stops there and no more tests are run.
The CPU is an Intel 5Y70 CPU @ 1.10 Ghz .
Anyone know exactly what this refers to and how I might get more use out of this tool ?
