OC an I3-8350k

Hi...
am currently trying to Overclock an I3-8350k but am having Issues with it....
on my Bios (which is up-to-date) on the OC tap i go to the Cpu ratio and any number I type above the 40 (4.0 Ghz) will reset to auto..
my build is:
MSI B365M pro-vh motherboard
DDR4 8gb 2400 mhz
DDR4 16gb 2666 mhz
600w power supply
GTX 1660 6gb

Any Ideas to why my motherboard refuses to OC my CPU?!

You will need to ask MSI that question.   Only they can help you with their board.

did you ever get this resolved? i've got the same cpu and mobo but can't overclock past 40, even xtu says i dont have a K series cpu but it is an 8350k
