[Problem] Turbo Boost for Intel® Core™ i5-6300HQ Processor

I have

Dell Inspiron 15 7559

OS: Windows 7 x64

with

https://ark.intel.com/products/88959/Intel-Core-i5-6300HQ-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3-20-GHz- Intel® Core™ i5-6300HQ Processor

and processor is witth

- Base Frequency 2.30 GHz

- Max Turbo Frequency 3.20 GHz

i am downloading https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25994/Intel-Turbo-Boost-Max-Technology-3-0 Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0

and when i run the software i got this message "ITBM Driver Not Available"

I can see that you are getting problems when installing the Intel ® Turbo Boost Max 3.0.

 

 

Regarding this, I would like to begin by explaining that Intel ® Turbo Boost technology accelerates processor and graphics performance for peak loads, automatically allowing processor cores to run faster than the rated operating frequency if they're operating below power, current, and temperature specification limits.

 

 

Now, the one that you are trying to download is not compatible with the processor you mention, the processors supported for this turbo boost version are the ones shown in the download page below:

Your processor only supports the Intel ® Turbo Boost 2.0 which was explained above.
