I am trying to overclock my ALIENWARE R4 17. I have been having performance issues when gaming and I was thinking that pprobably I am not making the most of the computer. I replaced thermal paste and pads like a year ago but I have barely used the laptop. I have 32 GB of RAM and a SSD of 1TB
I have managed to change the settings in the BIOS to 40, 40, 40 ,40, 0, 100000 and 100000 for the Core overclocking level.
Then I downloaded the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to adjust the parameters of the overclocking. However, when I click advanced tuning the screen goes blank and I cant see the controls :
I saw a similar thread but I already have the WSL2 for windows disabled.
Attached the report from SSU,
Hope you can help me with this
Thanks,

@RamonQuinonez Maybe an older version of xtu will help. See attached.

Hello @RamonQuinonez
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.
Please keep in mind that after reviewing the list of compatible processors with the Intel® XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility), it has come to our attention that your CPU is no longer listed as an eligible option. You can verify this by referring to the list provided here. (Scroll down on the download page, and look for "This download is valid for the product(s) listed below".)
Regrettably, your CPU no longer meets the prerequisites for running XTU. The evolution and continuous development of the platform have led to the discontinuation of support for older products. It's noteworthy that your CPU model is categorized as "Discontinued," which further contributes to its ineligibility for overclocking purposes.
Thank you for understanding.
Best regards,
Jose B.

Dear AlHill
Apologies for my late response.
Thank you very much for your valuable help, I managed to successfully download and access your previous version of the software and now I can edit the parameters. Forever in debt.
Is there any recommendations regarding these parameters?
Many thanks,
Ramon
