Q9100 CPU material of raised rectangles on top

Hello

I have a Intel Q9100 CPU.  I am trying to decide on a thermal interface material to apply to the top of the Q9100's two raised rectangles on the top of the CPU.

I am considering using a liquid metal.  The manufacturer of the liquid metal I am looking at using says not to apply the liquid metal on aluminum?

The two raised rectangles on the top of the CPU appear to be a silver metal.

What is the materal of the two raised rectangles on the top of the Q9100 CPU?

Thank you
