Q9100 CPU material of raised rectangles on top

Hello

I have a Intel Q9100 CPU.  I am trying to decide on a thermal interface material to apply to the top of the Q9100's two raised rectangles on the top of the CPU.

I am considering using a liquid metal.  The manufacturer of the liquid metal I am looking at using says not to apply the liquid metal on aluminum?

The two raised rectangles on the top of the CPU appear to be a silver metal.

What is the materal of the two raised rectangles on the top of the Q9100 CPU?

Thank you

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We would like to inform you that due to the Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9100 has been discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request.

Note: You might need to search for the proper Product Category and click on its "Show more" link if the product is not visible in the top rows.

Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for your understanding.
