I am currently using an i5 3570 with DH67GD mobo. I was planning to upgrade to a 3770 but couldn't find a good deal so now decided to go with e3 1240v2 since it's quite cheap here with similar performance to a 3770. So, the question is that will it run fine on this mobo since the official Intel's support list for DH67GD is not showing support for this processor?
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/desktop-boards/DH67GD.pdf
But according to this site, it does support it (under Intel):
http://www.pc-specs.com/cpu/Intel/Xeon_E3_Series/Xeon_E3-1240_v2/1866/Compatible_Motherboards
Since the 1245v2 is same as 1240v2 with an iGPU so I am confused here.

That processor is not on the compatibility. No, you cannot use it.

Other sites reporting it do not matter. If it is not on the intel compatibility list for that motherboard, then it is not. Use it at your own risk.
The issue is that it is not supported by the BIOS of the DH67GD. It does not matter if it is similar to another processor, or socket compatible.
