RAS Features testing

Hello,

I am not sure if I choose a correct location for my post. I have a server with 4 x Intel Xeon Platinum 8268 for tests. I would like to test RAS features - CPU failure, memory failure and others on Linux machine. Is there any tool which I could use for making tests?

Hello lradzki,

Thank you for posting your question on this Intel® Community.

We understand that you would like to test the Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) features on your Linux machine. To better assist you, we would like to have more information about your environment:

  1. The server model
  2. Are you designing or assembling server systems?
  3. Are you trying to determine if these features are in use?
  4. What is the Linux* version running on your system?

Hello Wanner,

Yes, I would like to test the Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability features on my Linux machine.
1. The server model is Lenovo SR950.
2. I am designing and implementing IT environments.
3. I have a customer which wants to test those features - they are looking for solution for their critical systems. We would like to test how OS will react for hardware failures.
4. It will be RHEL, but for tests we can install other distibution if needed
