Rendimiento de Core I5-4590 y Core I7-6700

Buenos días, espero alguien pueda apoyarme.

Tengo una computadora Core I5-4590 (3.3GHz, 2 núcleos, 8GB de RAM, HDD 7200RPM) y lo utilizaba para programas de diseño, en especial para el renderizado de imágenes. Al momento de realizar un trabajo de render "x" el equipo se tardaba aproximadamente 8 minutos.

Ahora compré un equipo nuevo, Core i7-6700 (3.4GHz, 4 núcleos, 16 de RAM, SSD, Tarjeta de Video) para el mismo fin que la anterior, pero temo que no mejoró el rendimiento del equipo. Ya que para el mismo tiempo de renderizado del trabajo "x" con este nuevo equipo me tarda 6 minutos aproximadamente.

El proceso de renderizado, tengo entendido utiliza especialmente el Procesador del equipo. Pero veo que del I5-4590 al I7-6700 no hay mucha diferencia en cuanto al rendimiento, sólo en los precios.

Para este trabajo, estoy utilizando el programa 3Ds Max 2016, con el motor de render Scannline, Windows 8.1 64bits.

Alguien podría comentarme que podría estar pasando?? El rendimiento de la Core I7 no debería ser en mucho más superior a la I5??

Thank you for your feedback. Rendering requires a lot of CPU and graphics resources, if you are running a demanding application, it will take some time to be completed. If the software 3Ds Max allows to use more than 1 Core, I suggest you to assign more Cores to it, using Microsoft recommendations. Thank you for your support. I did the test (setting the 3ds Max program to four cores) but I did not solve the problem.

There will be some Intel tool (for example Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool) for I7-6700 because, on Intel page tells me that the tool is not for this model.

I suspected processor stability.

The I7-6700 processor works like the I5-4590. That's the real problem: The I7-6700 has the same performance as the I5-4590. This is worrying me a lot.
