Hey everyone, a friend just gave me his old Q6600 processor+stock heatsink that I plan on using in my P5N32E-SLI mobo. I haven't put in a used processor before, and I was wondering if I need to clean the heatsink/processor and reapply thermal compound? I have some "Electrolube silicone heat transfer compound," is this good enough? Thanks!

Oh, and what is the best way to clean the processor/heatsink? Thanks.
