Hello All, didn't find any Board related to SDRAM.
I just would like to know how to fin the RAM compatible with my old Pavilion dm3-1080ef (Core 2 Duo SU7300).

I curreently have 2x2Gb DDR3 800Mhz CL9 but would like to change it to 2x4Gb but can not find the same Frequency.

Nota 1 : Crucial.com couldn't help

Nota2: I already tried in vain (black screen) 2x4Gb DDR3 1333Mhz SO-DIMM 204 pin CL9.

Thank you in advance for any advice/help
Sebastien

This laptop utilizes GMA 4500 graphics, which is implemented in the GM45 chipset. The GMCH component that supports this graphics engine can (also) support up to 8GB of DDR2-800/667 (not DDR3) RAM.

Thank you @n_scott_pearson for your prompt advice, but what about the higher voltage (1,8V) needed with DDR2 ?
Will it be supported by the laptop (on the SDRAM slots it is written 1,5V) ?
I would prefer using DDR3 with 1066Mhz but I just need to ensure that it is compatible with the motherboard (SU7300).

Thank you in advance

Well! I am surprised. According to those labels, that is actually 1.5v DDR3 memory. This chipset spec said only DDR2 was supported. Now comes the hard part, namely determining if those are custom or standard SODIMMs. You may need to call the laptop vendor to determine that.
