Hello,
I've recently bought Asus Rog gaming laptop. it has i7 8750H process and runs Win10. yesterday my computer got into boot loop hole. every 5 seconds it reboots. when I've tried to boot it from USB flash drive with Windows recovery disk, it stuck. Asus customer service told me I need to send my laptop to their service because "the new 8th generation Intel processors has a security mechanism restrict me from booting from USB". do you know what they are talking about? never heard of such a thing.
Thanks

Me neither; sounds like a bit of a fib. I boot from USB on my NUC with 8th gen Core i7 processor.
Now, it is possible that they could implement this as a security feature on their board (in their BIOS) - but you should be able to disable this in BIOS Setup.
