Spectre/Meltdown

Not long ago, Intel published a list of processors affected by Spectre and Meltdown. This list lacks Intel Core 2 Quad and Intel Core 2 Duo processors (and others). Does it mean that they are immune? Or did not Intel consider them / forget it? Thanks in advance.

These processors are indeed affected and are included in the list of processors for which microcode updates are being (or will eventually be) prepared. Please consult the latest (Feb. 24th) release of the guidance document, https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2018/02/microcode-update-guidance.pdf Microcode Update Guidance, for more information.
