You need to ask gigabyte what processors are supported by their bios on that motherboard.

A quick check (on the GIGABYTE site) says it is NOT supported:

No, you definitely cannot replace a 6th gen Skylake processor with a 9th gen Coffee Lake processor. This would require a new motherboard.
