Hello @Daniel31
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. I sincerely regret that this has happened to you. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.
Take note that certain motherboards restrict overclocking to the RAM only, not the CPU. Z chipsets (e.g., Z490) support CPU and RAM overclocking. B chipsets (e.g., B460) allow RAM overclocking but not CPU. H chipsets (e.g., H410) generally don't support overclocking. For optimal overclocking, consider X chipsets (e.g., X570).
Please consider checking first with your motherboard manufacturer if the Overclocking features are enabled on your motherboard.
Best regards,
Isaac Q.

Hello @Daniel31
Thank you for your response.
To obtain precise information regarding the possibility of undervolting the CPU or its equivalence to overclocking, we recommend reaching out to your motherboard manufacturer. They possess the necessary insights into their products and can provide you with an accurate response.
Additionally, it's important to note that overclocking the system, specifically adjusting voltage and frequency beyond the supported specifications of the processor, may void the warranty on your processor.
Best regards,
Isaac Q.
