CPU: i7-11800h and i7-11900h
Memory amount in GB: 64
GPU: nVidia RTX 3050 and 3060
SSD/HDDs/Optical drives: 1TB SSD

older model config = i7-10870h hm470 chipset

newer model config = i7-11800h and 11900h with  hm570 chipset

So i got 3 new asus tuf f15 2021 (FX566HC) and memory latency is double the memory latency of older model asus tuf f15 (FX566LI, 10870H). Screenshots attached

Passmark benchmark
Memory latency on older FX566LI = 26ns

Memory latency on newer FX566HC = 45ns

AIDA64 benchmark
Memory latency on older FX566LI = 55ns

Memory latency on newer FX566HC = 76ns

except latency everything is better. but it kinda doesn't make sense for latency to be that low compared to previous model also provide the new chipset hm570 is upgrade over hm470.

avisangray, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

"except latency everything is better. but it kinda doesn't make sense for latency to be that low compared to previous model also provide the new chipset hm570 is upgrade over hm470."

In reference to your remarks, if that is the case, the reason for that is that every processor works differently and every computer is different even if the same exact components are being used.

So, the fact that you are using Intel® Core™ i7-11800H / Intel® Core™ i9-11900H on Intel® HM570 Chipset and the memory latency is double from the Intel® Core™ i7-10870H on Intel® HM470 Chipset, even if the parts are newer, including the motherboard, does not necessarily mean that they are worst or better, is just that they work differently, taking under consideration that they are tested on a different architecture, such as the BIOS of the board, from the older processor and keeping in mind that with every new platform there are new features, functions, and processes added to the Intel® Processors that might result in higher memory latency from older platforms. Especially in mobile devices, such as laptops, tables, where everything is customized by the manufacturer of it and they can disable/enable the specifications from the unit in order to comply with the functionality being advertised for the machine.

Since you are using what we as Intel® consider 3rd party tools, just to let you know, we do have an application that is our official tool which the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool, it does an overall test and if the CPU passes the test it means it is working properly on every specification and we can rule out any possible hardware problem with the unit:

Thank you very much for taking the time and sharing your feedback on the Intel® forums as well. For Intel® it is very important all the suggestions and recommendations provided by all of our users so, I will send your comments to the proper department for them to be aware of your post and in order to keep improving day by day the customer experience while using our Intel® products.

Any questions, please let me know.
