Hello Grégory_L,

Thank you for contacting us regarding the issue that you have been experiencing with the Turbo Boost Technology of your machine, it will be more than a pleasure to provide you with assistance on this matter.

In order to help you better I would like to gather more information about the configuration you have in the computer. Please attach to this thread the .txt file the Intel System Support Utility will generate through:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

To attach a file, you must click •Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.

As well, can you please provide us with a longer/detailed description of your issue?

Are you experiencing lag issues or screen tearing when playing? Is the computer overheating?

The turbo boost technology is dynamic feature that based on the CPU usage, will either decrease the values on increase them depending on the task that you are performing. We would like to hear more from you regarding this issue.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best Regards,

Diego S.

Hello Grégory L,

Thank you reply, I really appreciate that you attached the SSU report so we can have a better inside regarding the issues that you have been experiencing.

Based on the report that you provided to us, I was able to notice that you have a machine that is using Windows 7 as the main operating system.

I regret to inform you that the machine that you own seems to be missing drivers, which are causing the graphic issues that you shared with us. The fact is that the 7700HQ CPU that you own uses Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 which as you can see on the following link, does not support Windows 7:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005526/graphics-drivers.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005526/graphics-drivers.html

While performing further research, I was able to notice as well that your machine, based on the OEM manufacturer's website, does not support Windows 7, and the only available drivers on Acer's website are for Windows 10 64bit.

Here you will find Acer's official link:

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7094?b=1 https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7094?b=1

In this case I strongly recommend you to either upgrade your OS so you can get support (Driver-wise) or to contact both Acer and Microsoft so you can check if they have any type of support/driver pack for Windows 7.

I hope this helps,

Best Regards,

Diego S.
