Updated Z790 BIOS to 0x129 - i5 13600k - crashing? Possible degradation?

Hello all, recently updated my bios from stock to the newest one for my ASRock Mobo that features the 0x129 code since I've heard so many issues for many of our Intel CPUs. I currently use an i5 13600k.

Long story short after successfully updating the BIOS, the CPU temps look far better however I am now unable to steadily game and have been seeing many crashes to desktops / hard freezes of the PC / and even the PC reboots completely leaving me with a Kernel error 41 in event log.

Now I can't specifically pinpoint if it's a PSU issue or even quite possibly a CPU degradation issue but I was hoping if anyone know of a similar situation after updating their bios or is there something I need to do specifically in my settings? Are my parts at the end of their line?

For context, build is about 1.5 years old, was using stock bios up until update with XMP on, now even on stock settings and XMP settings (tested both) am frequently crashing when trying to do any sort of gaming. Regular day to day use is fine so far same with browsing the net, just gaming is a no go which has been a huge headache.

I actually have a similar issue on a different CPU Generation. I have the 13700k and i had a BSOD like 2 Weeks ago. I updated everything including the BIOS and now my PC randomly shuts off and on again but ONLY in Idle.. not when i Game..
