Hello . I have a pentium extreme edition 965 processor . And I wanted to know the max ram capacity that this processor supports and also the max speed of ddr2 {mhz} . Unfortunately in the official Intel site there is no information about max speed and max capacity that this processor can handle please help .

You need to look at what memory speed and memory capacity the motherboard supports.

Also,  this processor is almost 18-years-old.  Not supported.  And Intel will move you to the discontinued items forum.

Since the Physical Address Extensions fields says 32-bit (i.e, no extension), the maximum addressable memory is going to be 4GB. Al is correct, however; the motherboard is the ultimate determiner of what the maximum possible amount of useable memory will be. This will be determined by motherboard design (i.e., number of DIMM sockets) and BIOS support (for technologies, densities, etc.).
