Hi,

I am searching for a suitable Intel CPU to replace my current 2x DP5060 3.2GHx because it doesnt support AES-NI. Any advice from sifu's here for a suitable model ?

Thanks

You must contact the manufacturer of your motherboard/system and ask them what processors are compatible with THEIR BIOS.

Then, you can select from those processors.

An upgrade processor must be socket, BIOS, and chipset compatible.

I posted but no reply since the IBM x3650 7979 server a bit old.

Its socket 771 LGA, Bios 1.19 latest, Intel chipset 5000.

Sorry, there is nothing we can do. IBM must provide the information.
