We need a new Atom general purpose 64 bit processor

Since the Atom Z8000 series does not support Windows 11, we would like you Intel; to develop a new one. Very few customers are still deploying products with the z8000 series and for use in windows tablets we are out of high quality options.

The last really good one; the HP Pro 608 is no longer sold and you can only find it on ebay; usually with some sort of damage. Vanquisher used them in their rugged 8 inch industrial tablets however due to the lack of new Atoms (I guess), they have only launched a new 10 inch tablet in 2022.

The recently released n50/n100 processors are in the 6 watt range so they would not be suitable for 8 inch devices.

If I could be so bold as to suggest the specifications for this processor perhaps you could consider developing one as I have looked at what was used in the z8000s and I have a wish list.

2 watts TDP

4 physical Gracemont cores

7nm process

4MB of Cache

2.8 Ghz max core

12/16 GPU execution units @ 800Mhz  Max

emmc 5.1

Dual channel LPDDR4 @3200

PCIE 3.0

USB 3.2

Hello, @Atom-Fan

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I am sorry to hear that these processors don't comply with your expectations.

Please be aware that the OS minimum requirements are set by Microsoft, we recommend you to check with them about these requirements: Windows 11 specs, features, and computer requirements

Moreover, I wanted to let you know that I have reported your suggestions to the proper team in charge describing the specifications you have given to us, thank you for your feedback, too.

Best regards,

Jocelyn M.
